11/28 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

As expected, clouds prevailed through the day and we had some light rain move through too. Clouds stick around through the night with a few drops, but most will stay dry. It will be chilly though, as temps will fall to the upper 30s and low 40s - 42 in NYC. You may wanna layer up if you're heading out tonight.

Evening Tonight Board

Tomorrow will feature an improvement to our forecast - after a cloudy start with some rain, we'll get clearing skies by early afternoon! The cold front that brought rain will push south and we'll dry out. It will be much cooler tomorrow, with a high of only 50 degrees; however, that's right where we should be this time of year.

Evening Surface

Monday marks the return to work & school after the long holiday weekend, and sadly the weather won't make it too pleasant. Temps will start off in the 30s, some spots below freezing, and north winds will introduce a wind chill. Make sure you're warm heading out Monday morning. We don't warm up much as temps only hit the mid 40s with late clouds.

Next chance for rain looks to be Tuesday & Wednesday as a slow-moving storm takes its time getting through. Keep the umbrella handy both days!
