Police: Man Wanted For Attacking Teen Girl Outside Bronx Bar

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they said attacked a teenage girl outside a bar in the Bronx in September of last year.

Surveillance video of the suspect was released late Wednesday.

It happened around 4 a.m. on Sept. 8, 2014.

Police said he grabbed the 17-year-old girl outside of a bar at Jerome Avenue and East 183rd Street and dragged her to a dark area. He then choked her, bit her hip and ran off, police said.

The victim was treated at a hospital and released.

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned Hispanic man in his mid-twenties, 5'6" tall with a thin build.
