Suspect In Deadly West Nyack Stabbing Indicted On Murder Charges

WEST NYACK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A 19-year-old homeless man has been indicted on 2nd degree murder charges after allegedly killing a 66-year-old man inside his West Nyack home.

Dylan Lentini answered an ad for a roommate, posted on Craigslist by victim Michal Wimbert, according to police. The two met on Nov. 27, when Wimbert picked up Lentini at the White Plains train station.

Lentini told police he had been living at a homeless shelter in Manhattan.

Officers responded to Wimbert's home on Demarest Avenue the morning of Dec. 2, after getting a call about a man who ran out of the house yelling 'call 911,' police said.

Lentini is likely to be arraigned on the indictment this week. He pleaded not guilty through his public defender after his arrest last week.

If convicted, Lentini could face up to 25 years in prison.
