Police Looking To Identify Young Man Found Dead In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking the public for help identifying a young man who was found dead in Brooklyn.

The man was found unconscious and unresponsive around 10:15 p.m. behind a building at 301 Sutter Ave. in Brownsville on Jan. 15.

Police said EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. Police did not elaborate on how the man died or whether it was suspicious in nature.

Authorities described him as black and between 18 and 25 years old. He was found wearing black cargo pants, a black hooded sweater and a black t-shirt with a picture of a raven and a skull.

A sketch of the man as well as a photograph of the T-shirt he was wearing were released with the hope that someone will come forward and identify him.
