VIDEOS: Blizzard 2016 Hits East Coast

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Millions are bundling up and staying indoors as snow continues to pile up across the Tri-State area.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency and is warning residents to stay home as a blizzard threatens to dump as much as two feet on parts of the area.

A state of emergency is also in effect for New Jersey as the blizzard slams the region with snow, wind and coastal flooding.
