1/31 CBS2 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

As we start off the last day of January, we'll have mainly clear skies with a chill in the air. We'll have some clouds from time to time but temps will jump through the day...expect a high of 48 this afternoon, well above the norm, and much warmer than yesterday!

Morning Hour By Hour

Tomorrow will feature more clouds but it will be even warmer. Temps will top out in the upper 40s and low 50s - right around 52 for NYC. There could be a few spotty showers but don't expect a washout. Things will be slightly cooler Tuesday with more sunshine and temps topping off around 50 degrees.

Morning 7 Day

We'll get a taste of spring on Wednesday, with temps soaring into the upper 50s, and some folks in Central & Southern Jersey could top the 60 degree mark! Scattered showers will be likely, and there could even be a few rumbles of thunder...in February!

Temps cool back down to seasonable levels for the end of the week, and we'll watch the chance for a storm system to move off the coast. Will it bring any snow? Stay tuned to find out!
