Trump's Private Jet Makes Emergency Landing In Nashville

NASHVILLE (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Donald Trump's private jet had to make an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon in Nashville.

The pilot reported engine problems as the plane was flying from an Iowa campaign event in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Queens native and New York real estate mogul eventually made it to Arkansas Wednesday night, but the event started more than an hour late.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) defeated Trump in the Iowa Republican presidential caucus Tuesday night, with 28 percent support for Cruz compared with 28 percent for Trump.

Initially, Trump thanked Iowans for their support and said he was "honored." Bu ton Wednesday, Trump accused Cruz of stealing the Iowa caucuses and demanded a do-over.

``Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified,'' Trump tweeted Wednesday.

``Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated,'' he wrote.

The Federal Aviation Administration was investigating the incident involving the plane late Wednesday.
