NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — From the comical to the emotional to the downright ridiculous, here are our favorite picks for the commercials of Super Bowl 50:
1. Puppy Monkey Baby | Mountain Dew
If this ad makes you scratch your head, laugh or cringe, you're not alone. Mountain Dew's Puppy, Monkey Baby ad features a hybrid-creature with a pug's head, monkey's torso and baby's legs dancing with some guys who are hanging out and drinking the beverage. It's for Mountain Dew's KickStart drink. #PuppyMonkeyBaby started trending after the spot aired.
2. Strong is Beautiful | Pantene Dad-Do
Get the tissues out. Pantene tears at the heart strings by teaming up with NFL dads and their daughters in this empowering ad. "Girls who spend quality time with their dads grow up to be strong women," the ad begins. Some NFL "tough guys" soften up a bit while they give their daughters a "dad-do."
3. "Super Bowl Babies Choir" feat. Seal
Good luck getting "Kissed From A Rose" out of your head after this one. The NFL brought together Seal's iconic love song and real-life "Super Bowl Babies" in celebration of the big game. Data suggest nine months after the Super Bowl, winning cities see a rise in births, according to the latest ad.
4. First Date – Hyundai Super Bowl Commercial
Hyundai is paying tribute to overprotective dads everywhere. With the help of Kevin Hart, the new ad features the ever-intimidating actor lending his car to one of his daughter's dates, just so he can stalk them around town.
5. T-Mobile | "Restricted Bling" Super Bowl Ad
It was possibly the most viral hit of 2015, and T-Mobile managed to snag Drake to star in their "Restricted Bling" ad. Cell phone carrier reps yell "cut" at the rap superstar as they try to incorporate the annoyances companies often unload on customers.
6. Budweiser USA: 2016 Super Bowl Commercial | #GiveADamn
Helen Mirren has a word or two for those who think it's okay to down alcohol and operate heavy machinery. Budweiser teamed up with the actress to call on drivers to #GiveADamn while protecting their lives and the lives of others. "If your brain was donated to science, science would return it, so stop it!" Mirren says of those who drink and drive.
7. HEINZ Ketchup Game Day 2016 Hot Dog Commercial | "Wiener Stampede"
Does it get any cuter than a stampede of wiener dogs dressed as hot dogs frolicking through a field? No, no it does not. The latest ad from the king of condiments features the full Heinz family welcoming the tiny pups into their arms.

What would Super Bowl advertising be without a hunk or two? Former Sexiest Man Alive Ryan Reynolds stars in a Hyundai ad where the town residents are all... Ryan Reynolds. Welcome to "Ryanville."

Snickers continues its series of hungry celebrities turning into their grumpy alter-egos. This edition: Marilyn Monroe. The latest ad features William Dafoe as a starving starlet in the iconic white dress scene.

If only moving in New York City was as fun as this commercial makes it look. Jeff Goldblum and Weezy star in this musically-driven ad that pays homage to the classic sitcom "The Jeffersons."

Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen prove that America isn't always a nation divided. When it comes to liberty, justice, three-day weekends and burritos most of us seem to be on the same page. Oh and beer (it is a Budweiser ad, after all.) The star-studded ad also features a brief appearance from Paul Rudd.
