Surveillance Video Released Of Minivan Used In Violent Kidnapping, Robbery In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two people in connection with a kidnapping and robbery in Brooklyn this week.

Authorities said officers were called to 1165 East 54 St. for a report of shots fired at around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

When the officers arrived on the scene, a witness said a victim was forced into a minivan by two men wearing masks and armed with a gun. Police did not disclose whether the victim was male or female.

While inside the minivan, authorities said the victim was hit in the head with the gun and stabbed multiple times in the leg and arms.

The kidnappers then stole an unknown amount of cash, an iPhone and two debit cards before leaving the victim on the street near East 39th Street and Foster Avenue, according to authorities.

Police said one suspect is described as a black male in his 40's with a gray beard.
