Police: Armed Men Rob Baldwin Resident During Home Invasion
BALDWIN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Two masked men robbed a Long Island resident late Monday night during a violent home invasion, police said.
The suspects, who were armed with a handgun, knocked on the back door of a home on Fargo Street and pushed their way inside when a 29-year-old man opened the door, police said.
The suspects fought with the man and ended up taking his wallet containing cash and credit cards, police said.
The suspects fled in a dark-colored four-door sedan.
The victim suffered cuts and abrasions to his head, but refused medical attention.
