Police: 63-Year-Old Man Slashed In Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for a suspect in the slashing of a 63-year-old man in the Bronx.

The incident occurred on Sunday, Feb. 7 shortly after 4 a.m.

Police said the victim got involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect inside of 218 East 170 Street.

The argument escalated, and the man got slashed in the face. The suspect fled the scene

The victim was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he was treated and released.

The NYPD has been dealing with a rash of slashings and stabbings in the city recently.
