JFK Jet Fuel Pipeline Ruptures In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A pipeline that sends jet fuel to John F. Kennedy International Airport ruptured Thursday evening, but the problem was quickly secured without any injuries.

The FDNY said the Buckeye Pipeline experienced a leak in East New York, Brooklyn, and was secured very quickly.

There were no reports of injuries or evacuations.

Information from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey was not immediately available.
