Former Queens Martial Arts Instructor Charged With Sexually Abusing 4 Girls

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP)-- A former Queens martial arts instructor remained in jail Tuesday after being accused of sexually abusing four young female students.

Prosecutors said 26-year-old Lorenzo Ramos forcibly touched the girls. Two of the victims were 12 years old and two were 14 years old.

The abuse allegedly happened while Ramos was employed as an instructor at the United Tae Kwon Do Center in Corona over the past 19 months.

Prosecutors say Ramos was arraigned Friday on charges of sexual abuse, attempted sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. He was ordered held on $31,000 bail and is to return to court April 1.
