Police: NJ Man Arrested After Allegedly Selling Handguns In Elmwood Park
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A New Jersey man has been arrested after allegedly selling firearms.
According to prosecutors, Miguel Torres, 20, of Butler, sold four illegal handguns in Elmwood Park. Torres was arrested on March 16 while in a car with Dominique Turzilli, 23, also of Butler, police said.
A search of the car revealed Turzilli had cocaine and oxycodone in her possession and was also arrested, according to police.
Torres faces an unlawful possession of a weapon charge and is being held at Bergen County Jail on $100,000 bail, officials said.
Turzilli was issued a summons and released.
