Yankees' Ellsbury Out Until Thursday With Bad Wrist
TAMPA, Fla. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Yankees say center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury is out until at least Thursday because of an injured right wrist.
Manager Joe Girardi said that's the earliest he would expect Ellsbury to play again. Ellsbury underwent treatment Sunday, a day after being hit by a fastball from Atlanta's Julio Teheran.

Ellsbury said the test results are encouraging. X-rays on his wrist were negative. He said he hasn't been given a date on when he can resume baseball activities.
"Today, just came in and iced it. Keep the swelling out of it. Really, it's day to day from here," he said.
"Just with the place where I got hit, just wanted to get it checked out and make sure everything is good," he said. "It's just in a bad spot."
If Ellsbury is sidelined for an extended period, Girardi said Aaron Hicks would start in center.
