Suspect Arrested In Queens Machete Attack

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A suspect has been arrested in a machete attack on three men in Queens.

Guillermo Torres, 20, is charged with three counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

The incident happened early Sunday morning outside a restaurant on Northern Boulevard in Jackson Heights.

After getting into an argument with three other men inside the restaurant, police said Torres left and came back with a machete. He waited for the victims outside the restaurant and then attacked, police said.

One man suffered cuts to his head and back, the second man to his wrist and the third victim was slashed on his head and hand, police said.

They were all taken to the hospital in stable condition.
