Police Seek ID Of 4 People In Shooting That Killed Cuomo Aide

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were looking to identify four people in a shooting that left an aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo dead last year.

The NYPD released photos of three men – ages 25 to 30 – and one woman between the ages of 18 and 20, police said. They are wanted in the shooting that killed Carey Gabay in Brooklyn.

The NYPD Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for an arrest and indictment in the case, along with a $10,000 reward from the NYPD and a $10,000 reward from the Mayor's office – for a total reward of $22,500.

On Sept. 7, the 43-year-old Gabay was gunned down in the street during festivities leading up to the West Indian Day Parade. He was walking with his brother near the Brooklyn parade route at 3:40 a.m. when he was shot. He died on Sept. 15.

Gabay, a Harvard-educated lawyer, served as first deputy general counsel at the Empire State Development Corp.
