LeBron James: I Would Take Pay Cut To Play With Carmelo Anthony

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York Knicks fans can only dream of this scenario – LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony as teammates.

In an interview with Bleacher Report's Howard Beck, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar said he would take a pay cut to play with Anthony, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Paul.

"I really hope that, before our career is over, we can all play together," James told Bleacher Report. "At least one, maybe one or two seasons – me, Melo, D-Wade, CP – we can get a year in. I would actually take a pay cut to do that."

James famously bolted Cleveland for the Miami Heat in 2010 to for the Big Three along with Wade and Chris Bosh. Over the four seasons they played together, they made the NBA Finals every year, winning two championships.

James said that maybe they will all play together at the end of their careers, or maybe even sooner than that.

"It would be pretty cool," James told Bleacher Report. "I've definitely had thoughts about it. We'll see."

James recently created a minor controversy earlier this week after he unfollowed the Cavaliers on Twitter.
