Photos Show Woman Wanted In Brooklyn Subway Stabbing

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released images of a woman wanted in connection with a stabbing at a Brooklyn subway station.

The violence broke out at the Ralph Avenue Station in Bedford-Stuyvesant shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

It all started when a 13-year-old boy got into a verbal dispute with the suspect onboard a Manhattan-bound C train, police said. As the train doors opened at the station, police said the suspect pulled a knife out of her bag and stabbed the boy in the stomach.

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital. He is expected to be OK, CBS2 reported.

The suspect is believed to be between 14 and 16 years old. Police describe her as a black female with brown eyes, approximately 5'5" tall, weighing about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and light blue jeans.
