Person Struck By No. 1 Train At 59th Street; Multiple Lines Snagged
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Multiple lines were snagged in Midtown and Upper Manhattan Friday evening, after a person was struck by a No. 1 Train at 59th Street-Columbus Circle.
The circumstances of the incident were not immediately learned, but police said the incident was non-criminal in nature. Authorities could not specify the condition of the person struck.
Following the incident, No. 1 Train service was shut down in both directions between the Times Square-42nd Street and 168th Street in Washington Heights, police said.
No. 2 trains were rerouted to the No. 5 line between 149th Street-Grand Concourse in the Bronx and Nevins Street in Brooklyn, and No. 3 Train service was shut down between Times Square-42nd Street and Harlem-148th Street, police said.

By the late night hours, No. 1 train service had resumed as usual, but with delays. No. 2 and 3 trains were running local between 14th and 72nd streets.
