Con Edison Customers To Get Credits After Settlement Of Corruption Probe

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Con Edison customers will be getting some money back, after the utility company settled a corruption investigation for $171 million.

The case settled on Con Ed supervisors and employees accused of taking more than $1 million in bribes and kickbacks, in exchange for paying inflated contractor claims.

Electric customers will see a credit of about $14.

Gas customers will get about $22.
