NFL Player Tweets He Was Randomly Drug-Tested By League On 4/20

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Pittsburgh Steelers player poked fun at being randomly drug-tested on 4/20.

Le'Veon Bell tweeted Wednesday morning, "Of course I get a "random" drug test on 4/20...good luck with that sample."

April 20, or 4/20, is best known for people smoking marijuana.

Even though Bell joked about the drug test, he has been in trouble with the law before. In 2014, the Steelers running back was arrested for possession of marijuana, and also charged with driving under the influence.

The NFL suspended Bell two games for the incident.

One fan tweeted at Bell, "Please let this man pass."

Bell responded, "No worries this way."

Bell, who missed most of last season after tearing his MCL, has 21 total touchdowns and 2,777 rushing yards with the Steelers over three seasons.

He was a second round draft pick in 2013.
