Poor Jerry Recco found himself between a rock and a hard place on Friday morning when it came to delivering his informative and entertaining update.

The reason he was in the no-win situation was due to a combination of an embarrassing effort courtesy of the Rangers and Boomer's love for the Blueshirts.

In addition to the Rangers' 5-0 loss to the Penguins on Thursday, which Jerry eventually got to, we also heard about another loss for the Yankees, Jake Arrieta's no-hitter, and the NBA playoffs.
