Police: Armed Men Flee With $3,400 After Robbing 53-Year-Old Man In Upper West Side Apartment
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- Two men got away with over $3,000 in cash and some expensive gadgets after robbing a 53-year-old man on the Upper West Side, police side.
Officials said the two men followed the victim into his apartment on West 81 Street at around 6:45 a.m. Sunday. The suspects brought out a gun and demanded the man's belongings, which included two bags containing $3,400 in cash, a cellphone, and two iPads, police said.
The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a mid-size black SUV following the armed robbery.
