Police announced Monday that Jean Bruny, 24, is charged with murder in the killing of Torrance Dawkins, of Waterbury.

The shooting happened just before 1:30 a.m. Aug. 11, 2013, inside the Cheetah Club. Dawkins was shot once in the head.
