4/26 CBS2 Tuesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Justin Lewis
CBSs Meteorologist

Our final line of showers will pass through this afternoon with perhaps a thunderstorm here or there. It's possible one of these storms could be strong, producing gusty winds and small hail, so do be on the lookout. There will be a bit of a range in the highs today with 50s and 60s north and east, while areas south and west soar to around 80°! As for here in the city, expect a high to within a couple degrees of 70.

Clouds will be slow to exit tonight, but we'll see our wind return to the north which will usher in cooler, drier air. Expect temps to be a little cooler around daybreak tomorrow... mid 40s.

Sunshine should win out tomorrow as higher pressure settles in. It won't be quite as warm, but we'll still make a run for normal in the low to mid 60s.

Rain will attempt to graze our area on Thursday from the west and south. The models this morning aren't aggressively bringing the rain through the area, so the wettest part of the area, as of now, looks to be to our south. As for highs, they'll be a touch cooler in the upper 50s to around 60°.
