Man Accused Of Breaking Into Multiple Cars In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for a man who is believed to have broken into a number of cars in Flushing, Queens.

Police said the man broke into three cars between April 12-15.

The first incident took place April 12 at 132-11 14th Avenue in the Whitestone Shopping Center parking lot. The man is accused of breaking into a parked car and stealing multiple credit cards and cash.

On April 13, the suspect is believed to have stolen a laptop, a credit card and debit card from a car parked in a lot at the intersection of Cross Island Parkway and 160th Street. Police said he then tried to use the stolen debit card at a local 7-Eleven.

Then on April 15, police said the suspect broke into another car at the Whitestone Shopping Center, stealing a Samsung Galaxy 5 cellphone and a credit card.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and black hair.
