LISTEN: Caller Tells Francesa Mets Should Trade Matt Harvey
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Matt Harvey is overrated and the Mets should think about trading him, a fan of the team told WFAN's Mike Francesa on Thursday.
"For his career, this man, who many people seem to think he's one of the greatest pitchers of all-time, has won 27 games," Bill in Yorktown called in to say. "And currently as we speak, if you're going to put a Met rotation out there, if the World Series started tomorrow ... what position in this Mets rotation right now? I mean, I'll give you fourth, but I don't know if I'd rather Bartolo start ahead of him right now. I mean, he's been terrible."

Francesa responded: "So you want to get rid of him?"
"The Mets would probably be well advised to make a really good deal for the guy," Bill continued.
"He has been mediocre this year in his starts, absolutely," Francesa agreed with the caller. "But if you don't think he hadn't pitched well until this year, then I don't know what you were watching."
