'Nothing To Say': Hillary Clinton Refuses To Respond To Trump's Comments She Was 'Enabler' To Bill Clinton's Marital Infidelities

LOUDON COUNTY, Va. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton is refusing to respond to Donald Trump's recent comments that she was an enabler of former President Bill Clinton's marital infidelities during his political career.

The former secretary of state told reporters following an event in a Virginia suburb that she has "nothing to say" about the presumptive Republican nominee "and how he's running his campaign."

"I'm not running against him. He's doing a fine job of doing that himself. I'm running my campaign, what I want to do as president, what I stand for, what I always stood for, and what I believe is going to make a difference for the people of this country," Hillary Clinton said.

Addressing supporters of the Spokane Convention Center on Saturday, Trump went after Bill Clinton's past.

"She's married to a man who hurt many women and Hillary … hurt many women, the women he abused," Trump said. "She's married to a man who was the worst abuser of women in the history of politics."

He continued, "And Hillary was an enabler and she treated these women horribly. And some of these women were destroyed, not by him, but by the way Hillary Clinton treated them after the way everything went down."

Bill Clinton infamously had a sexual relationship with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky in 1998.

Hillary Clinton told reporters she's answering Trump "on what I think voters care about," including on differences "between our records, our experience, what we want to do for our country."

According to CBS News, Clinton has 2,228 of the 2,383 needed to secure the Democratic nomination.
