Boomer & Carton: Syndergaard Stars, Pineda Struggles And Much More

Boomer and Craig had a lot on their plates to begin the Thursday Morning Extravaganza, kicking things off with plenty of baseball and a little basketball.

Noah Syndergaard did it all for the Mets out in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Not only did the young right-hander hurl eight innings of two run-ball, but the one they appropriately call "Thor" also homered twice, providing all of the offense for the first-place Mets in their 4-3 win over the Dodgers.

The Yankees hosted the Royals in the Bronx, but thanks in large part to another subpar performance from Michael Pineda they lost 7-3.

In addition, Steph Curry and the mighty Warriors advanced in the NBA playoffs.
