5/16 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

BRRR! It's brisk out there with spots in our area starting in the 30s! Definitely not feeling like a May morning... we'll keep the breezes today but we will warm up to the low 60s... 64 in NYC.

Tomorrow will be a few degrees warmer, with temps in the upper 60s... but there is catch: a warm front comin' up from the south will bring a chance for some afternoon drizzle and late night showers... but the better chance for rain will be on Wednesday. We're not looking at anything significant, but it would be a good idea to bring your umbrella.

The payoff arrives for the end of the week as we're expecting nothin' but sunshine Thursday & Friday with temps in the lower 70s... so just sit tight for now!
