Yankees Recall Infielder Rob Refsnyder, Option Pitcher Chad Green

PHOENIX (CBSNewYork/AP) -- The New York Yankees have recalled infielder Rob Refsnyder from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and optioned Chad Green after the right-hander struggled in his major league debut.

New York also recalled right-hander Luis Cessa and LHP James Pazos from Scranton/Wilkes Barre, optioned right-hander Conor Mullee to the farm team and designated left-hander Phil Coke for assignment.

The moves were made before Tuesday's game against Arizona.

Green struggled after being called up for a spot start, allowing six runs -- four earned -- and eight hits in four innings of 12-2 loss to Arizona.

Refsnyder did not make New York's opening day lineup after struggling to convert from second to third base. He hit .302 with two homers and five RBIs in 16 games with the Yankees last season.

Refsnyder was batting .293 with two home runs and 10 runs batted in before getting called up.
