Violent Queens Robbery Caught On Video

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance video of a violent robbery that left one man unconscious in Queens.

The suspect came behind two men, ages 45 and 47, and attacked them as they were walking shortly before 2:30 a.m. on April 30.

The suspect punched one of the men in the face, knocking him unconscious, and assaulted the other victim, pushing him to the ground, police said.

The suspect made off with the victims' wallets and cellphones, police said.

Police did not disclose the exact location of the robbery. They said it happened in the 104th Precinct, which covers Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village and Maspeth.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic man, between 17 and 23 years old, 5'6" to 5'8" tall, and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater and gray sweatpants.
