Man Wanted In Connection With 7 Home Robberies In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)--A burglar has been sneaking into homes and stealing just about anything he can get his hands on.

He's not a kid, but a man in his 40s or 50s, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported.

The New York Police Department said he has burglarized seven homes beginning last December and most recently as May 5 in the Bayside area of Queens.

Officials said the man usually enters through a rear window and leaves through a side or back door.

He has taken wrist watches, electronics, cash, and jewelry. In each case, no one was home and the residents were either on vacation or out for the evening.

The suspect is seen in the surveillance photo above.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
