5/30 CBS2 Memorial Day Weather Headlines

Happy Memorial Day everybody! We had an ugly start to the holiday but things have improved a bit! Not saying the rain is totally over, but you'll be able to BBQ! Not looking like such a great day to hit the beach though, with a lingering shower chance and rip current concerns. We'll also have a few more showers/thunderstorms later this evening ahead of the cold front.
Tomorrow is a real beauty with mostly sunny skies and high temps in the mid 80s -- shame it couldn't have arrived 24 hours sooner! Temps will be a good 10 degrees above normal, but with comfortable humidity levels, it'll be a pleasantly warm day.
Wednesday and Thursday look great as well with dry conditions and highs around 80 Wednesday and the mid 70s Thursday. A few more clouds move in Thursday afternoon ahead of the next rain chance Friday.
Despite the gray skies, don't forget the real reason for the holiday, and make the best of it. Check back soon!
