Woman Killed After Being Hit By Car In Midtown Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police say a woman has been killed after being hit by a car in midtown Manhattan.

It happened shortly before 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

New York City police say 52-year-old Po Chu Ng was crossing Sixth Avenue at W. 30th Street when she was hit by an SUV. The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene.

Emergency crews rushed Ng to a local hospital, where she died.

Police say they are were continuing to investigate the collision.
