Officials: Men Rescued From Hudson River Appeared To Be Intoxicated

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two men were rescued from the Hudson River on Wednesday night.

Officials said the men had a boat tied to the dock near the 79th Street Boat Basin.

They jumped into the water to go swimming, got in trouble, and needed to be rescued.

The men -- who appeared to be intoxicated -- were pulled out of the river just before 9 p.m, officials said.

There were no serious injuries reported at the time. The men were being evaluated at the scene.
