Rain is in the forecast for today. Showers begin for most about lunchtime, earlier north and west of the city and continue through the afternoon. Heaviest accumulation will be in central and southern New Jersey. High of only 76°.

This system gradually moves offshore for the evening commute and overnight we should be dry with only some remnant clouds.
