Multiple Water Main Breaks Reported In Elizabeth, New Jersey
ELIZABETH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Multiple water main breaks have been reported Tuesday morning in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
There are at least eight small breaks, including one along Route 1 and 9 where two northbound lanes are blocked at Fairmount Avenue.
Some residents in the area said they are without water while others said they had no problems showering and getting ready for the morning, CBS2's Magdalena Doris reported.
CBS2 has reached out to the American Water company to see how many customers are affected and what may have caused the breaks.
