Chick-Fil-A Wants You To Dress Like A Cow For Free Chicken Entrees

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- July 12 is Cow Appreciation Day, and fast food chain Chick-fil-A is asking customers to put their best hoof forward for a chance at a free meal.

The company, which opened their largest location in New York City last year, is offering free meals to all customers dressed up like a beloved bovine next Tuesday. According to Chick-fil-A, customers can be dressed "head to hoof" in cow attire, or simply sport a cow accessory to be eligible for the promotion.

Cow-clad customers can grab a free entree all day until 7 p.m.

The cow has been Chick-fil-A's mascot since the 90s, along with the slogan "Eat Mor' Chikin."

You can find Chick-fil-A on 37th Street and 6th Avenue in Midtown, or at their outpost downtown at New York University.
