Good Monday morning folks! Let's get right to it...we're gonna have a scorcher today! Three major points about today: First, strong summer sun will heat us up into the mid 90s away from the coast - 94 for NYC. Second is increased humidity so temps will feel closer to 100 for many spots. Limit outdoor activity, keep hydrated, and wear loose, light, comfy clothing.

Third, there will be a risk of afternoon/evening storms as a front approaches. Some storms could be severe with damaging winds & hail. Keep checking in with us for the latest on any storms.

Rest of the week looks pretty nice with sunny skies, much lower humidity, and more comfortable temps in the 80s...looks like Wednesday is the best with low 80s, sunshine, and pretty much no humidity. Then we might get serious heat returning by the weekend. Just how hot will it get?
