Distraught Family Sets Up Facebook Page, Asks Public For Help

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) As the NYPD investigates a beloved Yorkie stolen from a porch in Corona, Queens, the family of Linda the dog has set up a #SaveLinda Facebook page asking the public to help find her.

1010 WINS was the first radio station to report the theft, which occured on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 on the front porch of a home on Junction Boulevard just before 3pm.

Linda belongs to the parents of Emily Feliberty, who told 1010 WINS they were in town visiting from Florida, when the door was accidentally left open and the dog got out.  The theft was caught on surveillance video which shows Linda on the porch for mere seconds, when a woman opens the gate, scoops up the dog and walks off.

The video has been re-posted several times for a combined total of nearly 200,000 views.
