Harlem's Black Chef Series Celebrates Journey Of African-American Cooks

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- For the next few weeks, talented chefs will be serving up their best dishes in Harlem.

The celebration is part of the Black Chef Series, highlighting the journey and accomplishments of African-American chefs.

Restaurant Week: Best Manhattan Deals | Best Outer Borough Deals

It's also an opportunity to give back, with local charities like City Harvest, participating in the event.

Chef Russel Jackson stopped by CBS2 Sunday morning to speak about the series, and serve up some of his own specialties.
