NYPD: 59-Year-Old Man Knocked Out In Bronx Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is searching for three suspects after a 59-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in the Bronx on Monday.

According to police, the three suspects punched and kicked a 43-year-old man and a 59-year-old man after attempting to steal the 59-year-old victim's cell phone while on Gun Hill Road in the Norwood section of the Bronx at around 1:15 a.m.

The 59-year-old man was knocked out during the incident, police said. Both victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center and have since been released.
