Coast Guard Searches For Missing Swimmer Off Bradley Beach
BRADLEY BEACH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities are searching for a 31-year-old swimmer who went missing off Bradley Beach on Saturday.
The swimmer -- only identified as a 31-year-old man -- was last seen swimming off Bradley Beach at around 7 p.m.
Several boats and a helicopter took part in the initial search, which lasted through the night, Coast Guard spokesman Seth Johnson said.
"Search and rescue efforts were again launched this morning at first light," Johnson told WCBS 880.
Local law enforcement are also helping out with the search.
