NYPD: Suspect Wanted For Attacking 2 Men In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to find a man who they said violently attacked two men in Brooklyn overnight.

The first incident happened just before midnight Monday in Bushwick.

Police said the suspect walked up to a 28-year-old man on Scholes Street, started punching him and demanded money. He then searched the victim, but fled empty handed.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for a laceration to his eye.

Then about 20 minutes later, police said the suspect struck a 45-year-old man with an unknown object on Meserole Street. He then took the man's headphones and cell phone, police said.

Police said the blow to the victim was so hard, he lost two teeth and suffered a broken nose, a cut to his lip and head trauma. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video. Police describe him as a Hispanic man in his late 30s to early 40s, about 5'9" tall and 170 pounds with black hair and a slight mustache. They said he also walks with a slight limp.
