9/24 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

What a day it turned out to be! As expected, skies cleared and we had a gorgeous afternoon. Clear skies will prevail tonight and the temps will tumble into the low 50s around NYC, mid 40s for the 'burbs....and even some upper 30s far north & west! Make sure you throw an extra log on the fire tonight if you're up in the higher elevations away from NYC...a true autumn night!

Tomorrow will be a stunner of a Sunday with gorgeous blue skies, no humidity, light breezes from the north, and temps stuck in the high 60s. If you want to get out and view some foliage, or go for a hike, or have a picnic, you'll be in great shape! The cool and pleasant temps are a far cry from the upper 80s just a few days ago.

Monday will be another pretty nice day but there will be some clouds moving in later in the evening ahead of a front...but the daylight hours will be sunny and pleasant with a high around 70. Rain looks like it holds off until early Tuesday.

Until then, enjoy the beautiful fall air and check back soon!
