Terry Collins and his embattled group of Mets clinched a playoff berth on Saturday in Philadelphia and will have Noah Syndergaard on the mound Wednesday when they take on Madison Bumgarner and the Giants in the NL wild card game.

Unfortunately, the Jets followed the Amazins' triumph with a stinker on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium, falling the the Seahawks, 27-17.
