Man Charged With Robbing Bronx Bar At Gunpoint, Police Say
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested and charged a man with robbing a Bronx bar at gunpoint.
The robbery happened around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday at Keane's Bar in the Woodlawn section.
The suspect walked in, pulled out a gun and demanded money from a 25-year-old employee, police said.
He left the bar with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen heading south on Katonah Avenue, police said.
Late Wednesday, police announced Brian Conway, 38, of the Bronx, had been arrested and charged in the case.
He was charged with first-degree robbery, police said.
