Howard Stern Says He Won't Replay Old Donald Trump Interviews, Calls It 'Betrayal'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- If you're hoping to hear old interviews of Donald Trump on the Howard Stern show, you're out of luck.

The shock jock said on his SiriusXM radio show Monday that replaying the tapes would be a betrayal.

The GOP candidate for president has been a frequent guest on Stern's show over the years and has been under scrutiny after a leaked tape from 2005 showed Trump making lewd comments about women.

"Why don't I play all the tapes? I have to tell you why: I feel Donald Trump did the show in an effort to be entertaining and have fun with us and I feel like it would be a betrayal to any of our guests if I sat there and played them now where people are attacking him," Stern said.

Stern is a supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

He said on his morning show that he was honored the chats are sparking controversy and conversation and that he could easily release all of the tapes, but didn't want to (expletive) someone over.
